Almost all sold!

Just a lil announcement to let you know we have only twenty-five of these chiller bags left for sale!
We sourced them from the now closed creamery in Sth Canterbury and this is the last of the bunch.
They are great insulated bags especially for the warmer months and have four sections for four x 1 litre bottles.

$30 cash each, pop in and call the duty number by the door so we can sort you out with one.

📣 Let us know what you think . . . .

We had this cutie heifer born on Wednesday, we’ve still got a few later ones to calve.

Her mum Harbourside Tors Gennie, originates from Southland.
With that freezing wind on Wednesday we quickly grabbed a coat to help the calf keep its warmth and of course the other cows had to check out the new wardrobe. Jerseys are such a nosey breed!

What should we name this little one??
Her name must start with a “G”

Happy Father’s Day Pete 🙌 and to all the dads and father figures out there, we hope today has had some special moments.

The fluffiest cheese scones I’ve ever made thanks to Fernside Fresh Milk, too bad it’s ruined me for most other scones now 🧈

I’ll drop the cheese scone recipe in the comments thanks to my mum writing it out for me years ago from Brett McGregor in his Masterchef days

Please 🙏 show us a pic of your scones or whatever other goodies you’ve made recently with our delicious raw Jersey milk and if you’ve run out grab some today for that winter weekend baking!

A cute recent addition to our crew, we love it when they choose a sunny day to arrive ☀️

A few days ago our Ferdon Fizz Viyella calved a beautiful heifer by River Valley Victorious.

It’s great to have Fizz back in the milking herd, she has a great nature to deal with and a fantastic producer.

Every night, happy in the barn.

They have a good feed then settle in on the specially constructed 70mm foam mattresses in their bales and get some rest.

They are nosey gals and there’s always a few keen for a scratch.

Lots going on here the past month, drying off our spring calvers/summer milkers so they get a good few months rest before they have their calves.
Then it was into training our winter gals in the milking shed and transitioning them into the barn for the winter months, so our paddocks are looked after and not churned up in winter.
The barn helps keep the cows condition good in the cold.
We’re still getting them used to using the stalls and how to lay on the special mattresses.

Is it time to stock up your fresh milk for the weekend 🥛
