Freshly foraged native botanicals from the rainforest surrounding our distillery, sit alongside other carefully selected ingredients like Juniper berries, all brought together with pristine West Coast rainwater, which is filtered over pounamu.

We're often asked who Little Biddy was, and why her story shapes what we create today?

Bridget “Biddy” Goodwin was a true character. A gold prospector who stood just four feet tall, known for her grit, independence, and love of a good gin and whisky. There are tales of her riding a horse or donkey along the Lyell, with spirits bottles clinking in the woven panniers.

That same spirit lives on in every bottle of Little Biddy.

Crafted on the West Coast, our range draws from the landscapes Biddy once explored. Fresh native botanicals like Tarata and Kahikatea are foraged from the rainforest, bringing a distinct, local flavour and a sense of place to each sip.

Sometimes we get asked about the sediment that can appear in Little Biddy Gin - Pink.

It’s completely natural and is a result of the natural ingredients it contains. The fresh Central Otago cherry juice can settle over time, so if it’s been sitting in your cabinet for a while, give it a rigorous shake and the sediment will disappear.
