Over the weekend, we got to our 110th bonfire burnt as a result of the October wind storm. That puts us 80% done on clean up fires, some have been day and night supervision, some have smoked out the neighbourhood. It's been a battle to get the place cleaned up but we are starting to get through it.
Many helpers and one 89 year old (Peter) have been awesome at pushing up fires. We still have to fence the place and fix a lot of stuff up, but it's great to see progress.
