Silverbeet and lettuce have just been dropped into kai hub! Open till 12 today and open tomorrow 10-12

Friendly reminder, please do not drop off items to the opshop outside of opening hours. Doing so outside of hours is classes as flytipping/illegal dumping.
We appreciate saleable donations. Saleable being the keyword.
To the person who dumped two torn single mattresses, and the microwave with no microwave plate, I am sorry these are not saleable, please collect them tomorrow. Stashing them around the back where people line up to get their kai from the hub was not appreciated. Items must come via the front door direct to staff.
We do not want to seem ungrateful, but we do not
want to be taken advantage of either. Our funds cover our overheads for our shop and facilitate the Kai Hub, they do not pay for dump runs. Please be kind. If in doubt, ask.

The last day of service this year will be the 20th December. We will be closed from the 21st onwards. We will reopen in the new year with the kai hub on the 13th of January, and the op shop on the 15th of January. This gives our hard-working volunteers a good chance to recharge their batteries.
We hope many of you, during this time, will give thought and maybe make it a New Year's resolution to volunteer for an hour or two a week. It's a great way to socialise and keep your customer service skills well-honed while helping us keep the doors open for the community.
Thank you to our supporters this year Just Zilch, Hope Hub, Emoyeni, Shannon School, Shannon Four Square, and many more.
our community for donating their excess produce, and unwanted goods. Our volunteers long serving and new. Without you this all disappears. We are so grateful. And lastly to our umbrella Hapai Te Hapori.
