We love eating them(fresh generally) and we love it that other people enjoy them. We are a small company that puts the taste buds and satisfaction of our followers first. We take care of the oysters from when they metamorphosize from wild larvae until they are ready for someones plate. We only harvest when they are in season. Oysters are harvested and couriered off to customers and restaurants on the same day.

What a crazy fun event.. this year the team was exceptional. Professional shuckers and hospitality trained good buggars found their way to the side of the bathtub!
So plus the usual extended family line up it was a fun functional team.

Every oyster you'll taste at Winetopia this year has come straight from the Mahurangi Harbour to the Viaduct, harvested fresh in the days before the event.
We'll have a stand on the main floor all weekend if you'd like to see, and taste, the difference for yourself.
Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August, Viaduct Events Centre.

Had a little friend use the farm to safely nap in today.
Of course not that little, and wasn't around long as I did need to get a harvest it.
It's so good to see how our farms help support marine life in all kinds of ways. For resting birds, shelter for fish and now seals wanting to do a little sunbathing.

Its ok everyone Jim's here to shuck today!
They creamy, salty, perfect. As Hemmingway once said "with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste thay the cold white w**e washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the w**e, I losr the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans."
