We are looking for someone to assist our dispatch operation as well as get involved in vegetable harvest.

Position Details:

Start ASAP (Applicant must commit to a minimum of six months' work)
Good fully furnished accommodation options
Transport provided
Hours 7am – 5:30pm (Harvest Dependent)
Monday – Saturday (Harvest Dependent)
Work between 2 farms (Spotswood & Claverley)
Attractive remuneration (dependent on skills / experience)

We are looking for Vegetable Harvesters!

The Job
​
- Based in North Canterbury (Only 90mins from Christchurch and 60mins from Kaikoura via bus)
- Averaging 45-55 hours, 5-6 days per week (weather/crop dependent)
- Free transport to and from work daily from the accommodation (10-15mins from work)
- Hand Harvest
- Select crop, cut produce, put it onto a conveyor belt, and packing

The Candidate
​
You will have a passion for working as a team! You will also need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to be flexible with the highs and lows of seasonal work.
​
- Be a team player who enjoys working in a close-knit outdoor environment.
- Physically fit
- The ability to help the team to achieve results during a busy harvest season.
- Fantastic people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills.

Job Requirements
​
- Must be currently in New Zealand, legally able to work, and available to start ASAP
- Have an NZ Bank Account and IRD Number
- Full and current driver's licence would be preferred but not essential

We have a vacancy for an experienced Harvest Supervisor to lead the harvest operations and be responsible for the lettuce and broccoli harvest. At least one years’ “hands-on” experience in a similar leadership role is necessary to be considered for this role.
