The residents at Radius Heatherlea were lucky enough to catch the end of the tulip season last month at the wonderful Naki Farm Fun. Residents enjoyed being able to bask in the beauty of the colourful fields, and enjoyed feeling the texture of and smelling the tulips.

They were hosted by John, who told the group about how 2 years ago he had 6000 tulips in this garden, however this year it's gone up to 10,000! He shared his plans for the years to come and showed the residents what was left of the beautiful daffodils as well.

The residents were so kindly gifted some tulips and daffodils to take home to brighten up their rooms.

On the way home, they stopped at Lake Mangamahoe for some lunch and enjoyed feeding the ducks.
