Its soft, slightly sweet leaves with that unmistakable aroma are what give dishes like pesto alla Genovese their signature flavor, and of course it’s essential on a pizza 🍕🌱💚 Margherita ,added fresh at the end so it keeps its fragrance.
Growing it in your own garden makes a big difference too. Freshly picked basilico has a depth and sweetness .Warm sun, regular picking, and well-drained soil will keep it thriving and the more you harvest, the more it grows.
