We are deeply saddened by the passing of Brian.
Brian was the person with the vision to move the old Woolshed and create the foundation for what would eventually become Hopnotic Brewery.
Without that vision, I would never have had the chance to meet so many of you, share beers, stories, laughs, and build the community we have today.
For those of you who knew Brian and spent time discussing the countless topics he loved diving into, you’ll know he was a man of passion, ideas, and vision. He always had another project, another plan, another spark of inspiration. But above everything else, nothing meant more to him than his family.
The team at Hopnotic is thinking of them all at this incredibly difficult time.
Personally, I’m going to miss going to Brian for advice more than words can say. After losing my own dad nearly 20 years ago, I’ve realised just how much Brian became a father figure to me over the years. He was always the one I went to for advice.
For those who can’t make the funeral, come in and have a beer for Brian.
The funeral will be held this coming Monday at 2pm at The Oaks, 400 Raynes Road.
Brian mate, I’m going to miss those Saturday chats where I always walked away inspired, motivated, and full of passion again. You never stopped moving, never stopped dreaming.
But now mate it's time to rest. 🍻

The “You Know The One” Pizza
Double beef, double cheese, pickles, and that unmistakable sauce everyone talks about, all fired to perfection.
No explanation needed. It won't look like one, but will taste like one 😀
🍔🍕 — like a burger army landed on a pizza and decided to stay for a pint.

🐣 The Easter chaos has settled… the chocolate’s been demolished… and the Woolshed has (mostly) recovered.
We’re back to normal hours this week: 🍻 Thursday & Friday — from 4pm
🍻 Saturday — from 2pm (closing early at 7pm for a private function)
Round up the crew, bring the family, and swing by for a pint or two. Just remember… pace yourself and balance it out with a pizza (or two… we won’t judge 🍕😉).

Just to clarify, we are open as normal this Easter weekend. Only change is we cannot do off licence Easter Friday.

🐰🍺 Easter weekend is hopping in… but we’re keeping it nice and simple at the Woolshed 🍫🔥
Here’s the game plan for this week:
Thursday – open from 4pm
Friday – CLOSED (the Easter Bunny told us to take a breather) - but stay turned!!!!
Saturday – open from 2pm
Cold beers pouring, pizzas firing, and plenty of room to settle in for a yarn or two 🍻🍕
There’s a bit of chatter about new rules possibly coming into play this week in regards to Friday… so we’ll keep our ears to the ground and update you if anything changes.
Until then — round up your crew, bring the fur babies, and let’s make the most of the long weekend at the Woolshed 🐑🍺

Fresh Hop Milkshake IPA has landed at Hopnotic Brewery 🍊🍺
Brewed with freshly picked Tangerine Dream hops from the legends at Burntwood Hops. Massive shout out to them for the goods.
Also… a small shout out to myself. I did help pick the hops.
Mat may argue I was moving at “scenic tour speed”, but technically I still helped 🫣
The result?
A juicy, creamy, fresh-hop Milkshake IPA that’s tasting pretty special on tap right now.
We’re open from 2pm today, with pizzas and fries ready to keep the beer company.
