And just like that… the final night of this season’s Dinner At The Lake🥹🌅

WHAT. A. SUMMER!!! Taupō, we cannot thank you all enough🙏🏻 our last night was an absolute blast!!!! Flat out food trucks, golden hour popping off, unreal crowds and Hot Tub Big Band was pure fire!!🔥

We truly hope you ate your hearts out every week and ticked off as many trucks as possible this summer🙌🏻🌞

Huge love to every single food truck, the musicians, face painter, our bar crew, everyone behind the scenes and most importantly YOU 🫵🏻 for showing up week after week and making this season what it was🙏🏻❤️

We had THE best time and can't wait to do it all over again next summer. Until then… keep those Thursday vibes alive in your hearts🥳💃🏻

🍻 Licensed pop-up bar by Edge Events NZ — find it right in the middle near the action for beers, wines, ciders and non-alcoholic options!
🎶 Live music from Hot Tub Big Band — our opening night band is back to close the season. A Taupō favourite bringing big brass, funky grooves and seriously good energy 👉🏻 the kind that makes it hard to sit still so get ready to dance and smile the whole way through🎺🔥
🎨 Games & activities for the kids, including face painting

🧺 Picnic vibes as always — seating is limited so bring your picnic blankets, camping chairs, bean bags… even a couch if you’re keen (as long as you're taking it home after😂)

With Waitangi Day this weekend, we are looking forward to another night of coming together by the lake🤍

Dinner at the Lake has always been about community and connection. Food has a way of bringing people together, and this week, we are proud to shine a spotlight on KAI Licious and Chameleon, who will be bringing Māori dishes to the lake — alongside a full line-up of flavours from all around the world.

This week is a special chance to come together — sharing food, music and time with one another. We are feeling very grateful for the chance to gather, share kai and enjoy another evening with you all, while reflecting on the meaning of Waitangi Day🙏🏻🫶🏻
