Team was stoked to get some recognition winning the Silver Fern Farms Pasture to Plate award for the Western North Island - a region covering 3,500 farmers!

Being awarded a finalists in the Venison category was a significant achievement given it was our last year farming Venison and a last hoorah as we have transitioned our deer system to a Velvet focus.

Winning the Bull Beef Category award, enabling us to take out the the overall Regional award was great recognition for the shift in performance in that area over recent years.

The Stock leadership team enjoyed a beautiful meal at The Brantry in Taupo on Tuesday evening.

A true team effort with everyone across the station contributing in different ways - Ka Pai team!

R1 Cattle grazing a bumper Swede crop.

Been a big shift with almost 9,000 head of cattle onto crop over the last 3 weeks.

A combined team effort with stock teams & machinery team working Shoulder2Shoulder to ensure an easy transition onto crop using Hay + Silage.

Conditions cold and crisp but can’t complain with views like this one!

Big shift on sheep scanning this week by the team with Central North Island Livestock Scanning.

Team are happy with scanning results and ewe condition 60 days out from start of lambing.

Overall percentages: 181% + 2.5% dry rate.

Awesome to see triplet percentage (9%) come back from some historic highs with introduction of composite genetics.

Valuable sheep in today’s world!
