🍻 LOCAL BEER. LOCAL LEGENDS.

Last year we teamed up with Alchemy Street Brewing. to create the Oktoberfest brew for the event… and bringing them back for 2026 was a no-brainer.

Good friends doing great things, right here in Tauranga. 🙌

Their brewery is tucked away down a long driveway, just a stone’s throw from Fraser Cove Shopping Centre.

If you know, you know. 🍺
And if you don’t… follow the driveway until you find good beer and Turbo the brewery cat acting like he owns the place. 😂🐈

Alchemy Street anecdotes

One of the realities of being a small brewery is that you can’t have every bit of kit that you want or need… but luckily, you don’t always need to.

The van is all loaded up with kegs, Ed’s off to Lumberjack Brewing to use their keg cleaner. It saves us hours and gets a job done that we don’t have the equipment for ourselves.

This is one of the things we love most about being part of the craft brewing community here in the Bay. We are a bunch of craft breweries doing our own thing, but when someone needs a hand, there’s always a mate twilling to help out.

If you come a looking, you might find us tucked down an alleyway, off Brook Street, where Ed brews some bloody good beer on a rather rudimental brew house…

NZ Brewers Guild Awards 2026 was a very unexpected but amazing night! HotBox — our trophy beer — took home the gold! 🥇🏆

And......we picked up another 8 medals at the 2026 NZ Brewers Guild Awards. 🥇🥈🥉

Huge shoutout to Ed, our brewer and main man, for the mahi, madness and magic that goes into every brew.
