Meet Melina 👋

Our newest addition to the Bovonic team will be helping customer support and enquiries.

Originally from Germany, Melina has called Tauranga home for more than 10 years, where she lives with her husband, two teenagers and their Jack Russell, “Diesel”.

With a background in horticulture and entrepreneurship, she understands the realities of running a successful operation and loves connecting with farmers and growers.

Outside of work, you’ll find her cheering her kids on the footie sidelines, camping, fishing, keeping active or tackling another building project with her husband.

Calling all future engineers! 👋

We’re looking for a second- or third-year Mechanical, Mechatronics or Biomedical Engineering student to join the Bovonic team for a full-time summer internship in Tauranga.

This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of a real product development project and gain experience across product design and CAD, prototyping, testing and validation, data collection and analysis, plus in-house and on-farm trials. You’ll be helping develop practical solutions designed for real farming environments, alongside our hardworking (and pretty fun) team.
