Frost protection mode ON! Every vine matters.

20/09/2026

Sky full of stars tonight, but there’s a tiny chance of frost… and when you’ve got a whole year of work invested in getting kiwifruit to market, even a 0.01% risk is too much to take! 🥝

So here we are, still at the orchard, ready to turn on the frost protection. A whole year of management, and tonight we’re basically on night shift with Mother Nature! 🥝

🥝🌳 The Hayward canopy after years without a haircut… 😂✂️

Came back this year and the overhead crown said: “Bro, where have you been?” 🤣

So… time for a serious haircut! 💇‍♂️🌿
Years of wild growth → now we’re bringing this canopy back to normal life. 💪🥝

Not just pruning… it’s orchard rescue!
