On Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th September, Cacio & Pepe will be CLOSED because Daniel and I have a very important appointment…

💍 Our 17th wedding anniversary! 🥂❤️

After 17 years, we’ve decided we should probably take two days off to celebrate the fact that we still like each other… 😂🇮🇹

So Tauranga, you have been warned! 😜
Get your pasta and pizza fix before then, because those two days we’ll be swapping the kitchen for a little dolce vita. 🍝➡️🥂

Then we’ll be back FULL SWING the following week, ready to feed you all again! ❤️

Grazie mille to the team at Harris Tate Lawyers.

Last Saturday night they had a 80’s murder mystery party organised right in their office, and we were honoured to be part of their special winter celebration.

Daniel was busy stretching, topping and baking fresh pizzas to order, and we finished the night with a homemade tiramisu and two beautiful torte di mele (apple tarts).

22 people, lots of delicious food, and a night they’ll remember! 🥂

We had the most beautiful dinner at Pablo and wow… what an experience 👏🏼

Big thank you to Nasser and Vinicius who absolutely runs the floor so beautifully, making everyone feel welcome and looked after from the moment you walk in..and of course Pablo and the kitchen team… the food was INCREDIBLE 🤤

Fresh, full of flavour, balanced perfectly not too salty, not too sweet, just beautiful food made with care ❤️

You can always tell when a team puts passion into what they do, and we truly felt that.

As people in hospitality ourselves, it’s so special finding beautiful places to enjoy on our days off and support our local community 🫶🏼

Thank you again for such a lovely night. We already cannot wait to come back.

Every single week, our amazing Italian friend Massimiliano sends us this precious parcel all the way to Tauranga.
A little piece of Italy, made with passion, tradition… and so much love ❤️

And then… our hands do the rest 🙌
We turn it into magic ✨
Because great pizza is not just ingredients: it’s heart, its story, its connection.

That’s our secret 🤍

Ciao foodie family 🇮🇹✨

We tried something new..and mamma mia 😍

We finally got to taste Canadian cheese curd (yes..curd!), thanks to Nicolas & Marie and WOW..absolutely fantastic!

We first tried it just on its own..and the flavour? So fresh, so tasty, so addictive 🤤

But you know us..we couldn’t stop there 😏

Dinner turned into a little experiment in the kitchen.
We created a special version of a calzone (not on the menu) a deep-fried calzone

Ricotta on the base, loaded with that beautiful cheese curd, some ham..and then fried to perfection 🔥

Guys..it was SENSATIONAL.
Super tasty, crispy outside..and inside?
That CHEESE PULL 🤌🧀 all those perfect, stringy bites..just unreal!

We loved every single bite ❤️
