Tower Peak Station 1200ha Dry stock farm specialising in rearing young stock to become productive dairy cows by producing quality feed and proactively managing animal health.

Located 10 minutes from Manapouri, Tower Peak Station has 900ha of good flat terraces and 300ha of rolling to steep country. It winters 3000 R2 dairy heifers each year and takes on an extra 3000 dairy calves in December with the original 3000 R2’s then going home in May as in calf heifers. The farm has excellent infrastructure with central covered cattle yards, ample housing, automatic heifer weig

hing and drafting facility. Water is gravity fed from springs to a range of storage tanks and on to an extensive reticulation system with troughs in all paddocks. Tower Peak Station is owned by Canterbury based dairy farms Singletree Dairies, Chertsey Holdings and Canlac. These properties have been shareholders in the Station for 4 years and have recently purchased it outright. The Directors (Jim van der Poel, Will Grayling and Russell Clearwater) are proud of the property and have a hands on involvement.
