Long Dog Sauce Co

Last call to order from the website before we close it down at the end of the week.
We mostly just have the Original at this point and a few jars of the smoked chilli oil.
Thanks for your support.

Our take on Cowboy Candy:

• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 cup vinegar
• 1 cup sugar (we used dark cane sugar)
• 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, turmeric, garlic powder
• 1 tsp honey (optional)
• 10 jalapeños (we smoked half for our Smokey version)

Combine water/vinegar/sugar and heat until bubbling and reduces a bit.
Add jalapeños and spices and let simmer for 10 minutes.

So that’s a wrap for us at the markets. Although the website will stay open for a few more weeks and there is a small amount of stock left to order there.
Thank you so much again to everyone who has supported us over the years!
Here are some memories from our journey and as Imogen would say, stay wild!

So here we are at our second to last market - making friends where ever we go!
It’s bitter sweet at this point - Tim has put his heart and soul into this, hot sauce truly is his passion and he had hopes that this would become a full time gig for him. It’s heartbreaking that it hasn’t worked out the way we had hoped. We are so proud of you Tim Parsons your constant creativity, passion & determination has taught Imogen what hard-work is. We love you more than you can ever know! You are our hero ♥️♥️🌶️🌶️
We can’t thank you all enough for your support through the last 4 years! In particular Krsa Lee who has been one of our greatest supporters from the very beginning - she even setup a commercial kitchen space for us!! Jacqui Vaughan-Kells A Supprted Life @ two4nine as some of our biggest supporters! And our little market family who have helped us get through some of the coldest mornings with constant laughs at the many “freedom feeders” and all of the other market antics that take place True Authentic Kimchi & Gochujang Little Pips West Coast Rd SALAD Kitchen Tirimoana Honey Limited thank you for all of your support & love!
So finally we would love to see you all next weekend at our very last market The Shed Collective Farmers' Market Saturday 8:30am - 12:00pm come say goodbye and grab some amazing fermented hot sauce!!🌶️🌶️🌶️

This has been the most difficult decision we have come to, and not one taken lightly. But sadly, we feel like it is time to wind down long Dog Sauce Co. There are so many people we have to thank, but will do so in a later post.
Most of all my amazing wife Marcia who supported me every step of the way and entertained my crazy dream of starting a hot sauce business, even though she is allergic to chilli!
But for now, thank you so much for everyone who supported us, brought our sauce and got to know us at the markets and shows, and the hot sauce fest.
Love Tim, Marcia, Imogen, Ernie and Audrey
