Hobbs Family Partnership Orchard and Fruit Stall Located at 161 Teviot Road, Roxburgh. Family Owned and Operated Since 1991. We grow cherries, apricots, nectarines, peaches, plums, pears and apples.

We only sell what we grow. Hobbs Family Partnership Orchard and Fruit Stall is a small, friendly, family owned and operated business, located just 2km from Roxburgh, on the eastern side of the Clutha River, at Hercules Flat. We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and prices during our season which begins late December and ends mid May. During this time we are op

en 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm. Our seasonal fruit range consists of cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, apples and pears. As well as maintaining a well stocked Fruit Stall we also provide PYO (Pick Your Own) apricots, peaches and nectarines.

Here’s a few spring photos - thankfully we haven’t had to frost fight as of yet 🚜😊
Life is extremely busy on the Orchard - planted out a couple hundred new nectarine trees a few weeks ago, along with a couple hundred apricot trees 🌳🌳 Pruning is nearly finished - still plenty of jobs to do before thinning commences later next month 🔨🔧🚜🍎🍎🍏🍏🍑🍒

Fruit Stall update

We will be closing for the season at the end of Kings Birthday weekend hence Monday evening is the last day.

The last day for courier order is Tuesday as Monday is a holiday. I am still taking orders so contact me, Ruby, on 027 288 6090 if you would like a box.

We still have plenty of Granny Smiths, Braeburn, Splendour and Democrat, available in 2kg, 5kg and 10kg bags.
Democrat are a very old variety 🍎great for eating and cooking - same goes for Braeburn 🍎and Granny Smiths🍏🍏

Fruit update 24th May

Freshly picked Braeburn, Granny Smith Splendour apple are available in 5kg and 10kg bags on our Stall 😁😊
Also Democrat apples in 5kg bags only.
Braeburn, Granny Smoth and Democrat are great for cooking and eating
Quinces are now finished.
Red Delicious will be finishing in the next few days.
We also have 10kg bags great quality juice apples at a reduced rate 👍

At the moment it looks like we are closing our Stall on June 1st for the Season - will confirm this in the next few days 🍁🍂😊

Splendour apples will be available from Monday 😊

Courier orders will go out on Tuesday & Wednesday due to the public holiday.

Quinces are available in plentiful supply - fantastic fruit for jelly making, paste, chutney, bottling or simply cooking them with apple - delicious flavour 😊

Just a reminder we are open 7 days....7am – 9pm every day...this also includes all of Easter 😊
Cox’s Orange apples will be finished in a few days’ time.
Royal Gala apples are still all go.
Golden Delicious – Sandra’s favourite apple – are now available - great for eating and a wonderful cooker 😁
Red Delicious, Braeburn, Splendour & Granny Smith are all set to come on over the next month - will keep you updated as each variety comes on.
Packham Pears are still on the go – Beurre Bosc Pears will finish in the next few days.
Quinces will be ready in about 7-10 days.
Due to Easter, our next lot of courier orders will be sent out Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th.

Freshly picked Beurre Bosc pears, Royal Gala apples and Cox's Orange apples are all also available in 5kg and 10kg bags 🍎🍎🍎
Golden Delicious apples will be starting in about a week 😁😁 will confirm the date as soon. 👍

Quinces will start in about 2 weeks - will keep you updated.

Royal gala apples are now available in 5kg and 10kg bags 😁🍎🍎
Cox's orange apples also still available in 5og and 10kg bags - great for both eating and cooking. 5kg and 10kg bags.
Beurre bosc pears are available in 5kg bags - an delicious pear for bottling and eating.

Omega plums are still available in 1st and 2nd grade boxes.
Plenty of varieties of apples still to come on - next ones will be Golden Delcious and red delicious, followed by Braeburn and Splendour along with many more!

Omega plums are all go - available on the Stall in 1st and 2nd grade bags and boxes. They are red flesh and are great for eating, preserving, cooking, jam, sauce,etc.
Sending fruit out in 5kg 10kg and 15kg boxes - send me a message if you'd like a box.

We also have a limited supply of Luisa pluma.- yellow flesh with yellow/red skin - a gorgeous plum to eat!

Bon Chretien Pears are still available until the end of this week 🍐🍐
Cox's Orange apples should be available at the end of the week.
Royal Gala should be ready approx 7th March.
With the Royal Gala apples, we also offer bulk price for fundraising in 2kg, 5kg and 10kg bags.
