The superhot sprogglets have undertaken their first migration! 🌱🌶️🔥

They’ve officially moved from the germination rack into the big-boy tent under the big LEDs, and they’ve settled in beautifully. Looking pretty damn lush already! 🌱

Next job is to start sowing all the milder varieties and get the next wave underway.

Things have been moving a little slower than usual this past week, as I had surgery on my hand last Thursday, so doing anything in the grow room has been a bit of a mission. But we’re getting there — slowly but surely! 😊

The 2026 Chilleez NZ grow is well and truly cranking now. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥

Every day there’s a few more little sproggs rearing their naughty lil cotyledons. The 2026 grow is well and truly underway! 🌶️🌶️🌶️

After many years of playing with this recipe, Chillimato finally feels like home.

I added more roasted fresh tomatoes, extra onion, a big hit of garlic, more vinegar and a little less chocolate habs, but it now has so much more depth.

This is the sauce I’ve been chasing since day dot.

One happy capsaicin mixologist here ☺️
