I recently had the pleasure of attending a Breast Cancer Awareness high tea, hosted by the lovely Alisha of Floral Delights. Alisha put on a delicious spread of treats and decorated the place to look gorgeous. I was able to donate these beautiful cookies that were used in raffles to raise funds, and put out for guests to enjoy along with a lovely cup of tea :-)

No one likes to feel left out, espcially when it comes to party food. I recently made cookies for a birthday party and the mother commented that some of the children at the party would be gluten intolerant. I suggested that if she wanted to provide me with some pre-made gluten free cookies I could ice them in a similar design as the cookies I was making. This was a quick and easy way to make sure all the kids at the party got to enjoy the fun of eating brightly coloured cookies together.
My cookie recipe does contain normal baking flour, but if you would like to talk to me about gluten free options then please let me know.
The icing recipe contains: icing sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and gel food colouring.

Back to basics...today was a baking day 😀 The cookies I bake are based on a gingerbread recipe. They are full of flavour and bake flat to allow me to do the icing decorations on top. These little beauties will soon become rainbow hearts 🌈💜❤️💙
