While Min & I were rocking it out at Selwyn Sounds we left Ri to show the paca's at the Temuka & Geraldine A&P Show. He did ok!

Many thanks to convenor Rachel Marshall and Judge Diane Marks whose insightful comments have been passed on and will be taken on board as always. Also Lorraine McDonagh who came along to spectate and ended up helping out big-time, even getting involved inside the show ring.

Clearly we just need to party more!

So proud of our girl RUSTIC DAWN ALASKA scoring 89pts (only 0.5pts off the Supreme) at the Gore Fleece Show. Not bad for a 54 month fleece from a pregnant female!!!

Alaska produces a heavy stylish fleece and has been a previous Supreme Fleece winner, whilst her first cria (Rustic Dawn Hawaii) has also been a Supreme in the breed section. Needless to day we are looking forward to Alaska's second cria in about a month.

Big thanks to Jessie Haanen and her team for putting on the show and Diane Marks for her judging. Congrats to Shamarra Alpacas on taking out the huacaya Supreme.
