Our community pantry outside of Inn. Notice!!

🙅‍♀️🙅No more kakahu are to be left here. It's becoming an eyesore and most times we end up having to take them away. It is now extremely hard to find secondhand shops that will take clothes and especially now that there are no clothing bins.

Please use this FB page from now on, to post up clothes that you are wanting to share on.

What can you leave❓
🙋‍♀️🙋Books, Household items, Shoes, Seeds, Plants and definitely Kai.

But not if its broken, rusty, dirty, passed its use by date (yes carseats included) ay whānau.

N.B Once a month we have access to surplus kai. PM us.

This Whata works on the basis that you 'take what you need and leave what you can, next time'.

Sharing this vid as it represents the goodies you can find in the whata kai, either when you leave something (worthy) for others or you are there lending a hand to give it a tidy it up.

As always just a reminder that clean, tidy Clothing should be presented well (in the left side of whata) and Shoes that are soo worn that you wouldnt be seen wearing yourself 😅 should probably be taken to the dump by you and not become our trash to take 🤔🙄😂

It was soo cool to see a couple of little girls jump out of their van and run straight for Te Whata to see if they could find themselves some goodies.

What treasures have you scored from Te Whata?

⚠️UPDATE⚠️
Thanks to our brilliant community we have located 4 beds. You guys rock! Just looking for a refrigerator now ❄️

Looking for single beds again for another family in need. We are happy to take just bases if you have them also. If you have other furniture like drawers, dining room tables and chairs or any working whiteware we would be super duper happy to take those too. Thank you so much for your help!
