Most sausages are made with unnecessary additives. Ours are made from meat, salt & fresh herbs & spices. We produce and sell Bratwurst, the traditional German sausage, as well as a range of other All Natural German sausages. No fillers, no gluten, no preservatives. We’ve developed a production-site in Uruti, imported Bratwurst equipment from Germany and fine-tuned our recipe. We follow the traditi

onal German method, using premium cuts of Taranaki free-farmed pork and all natural local ingredients. Now we’re touring New Zealand on our one-of-a-kind BBQ bikes – ready to come and cook up some of our much-loved Bratwurst for those who enjoy a quality sausage without any fillers. Our business started in 2014 after we encountered a big problem: we couldn’t get our hands on authentic Bratwurst in New Zealand. This became a serious concern as we Germans take our sausage seriously :) The craving for a quality Bratwurst was strong, but the problem was we didn’t want to leave Taranaki, let alone New Zealand! 🌭 To all our Fieldays fans...
Many of you have been asking if Bratwurst Bros will be at Fieldays this year.
Unfortunately, we didn't secure a site this time around, so you won't find us at Mystery Creek this year.
We know quite a few of you look forward to your annual Bratwurst fix, and we're just as disappointed as you are.

The good news?
Our café and butchery at the Uruti Rest Stop are open as usual, so if you're travelling to or from Fieldays, swing by and say hello!
