As most of you know I lost my Dad at the end of last year.
For me grief and mortality made me reevaluate life & the quality of my time spent here.

I took some time during the winter to hibernate, regroup and gather myself.
I have decided that I will be doing things a little differently around here.

I will be offering bespoke seasonal catering and small party packages, that will include my top-notch tasty salads as well as succulent proteins and some old fashioned baking ( like grandma used to make)... Everything made using hand selected ingredients to showcase the best of what is in season. 🌿

Reach out if you have an event coming up.

To my loyal regulars, keep an eye on your inbox next week I will be in touch with whats on offer. I will not be doing my weekly salad & meal orders for now, but can make salads on a larger scale for parties πŸ₯³
Thank-you.

My cooking mirrors the seasons.
Everything has a season, lamb isn't best in spring, milk tastes different in autumn, oysters are seasonal too. Somewhere along the line we've lost sight of that. We expect to eat a tomato or cucumber mid-winter (even though they're watery and tasteless.)

My cooking is responsive to what is going on around us in our environment. I like to use locally sourced in season produce because it tastes better.

More than just salads....
I also offer bespoke catering. From tasty top-notch salads to wholesome mains and old fashioned baking ( like grandma used to make)
I have a passion for lifting the spirits with
πŸ’š"Good mood food" πŸ’š reflecting the ebbs and flows of tides and seasons.

Just a few random food shots with a wee update for my lovely local customers.
I haven't forgotten about you all and I'm so grateful for your support πŸ’›. I hope you enjoyed the last cook I did. Thank you for all your orders, it was quite overwhelming ( but great). The Eggplant Parmigiana will definitely be back on the menu next summer after all the positive feedback I received. πŸ«’

The last six months have been an emotional time. Since losing our Dad I've taken some time to nourish my family (& chef at a few events to keep the lights on.πŸ˜„)
I do plan to reignite my little kitchen and really look forward to creating some tasty dishes this winter...I just need to help my Mum move house first. πŸ₯°

Thank you for your patience.
Enjoy this beautiful weather and the long weekend.
