Please join me at the Greystone Restaurant for a special ‘Meet the Winemaker’ evening of delicious food, beautiful company, and plenty of excellent wine.

The evening is a wonderful opportunity for me to introduce myself as the new Head Winemaker for Greystone. I took on the position this year and am looking forward to sharing some stories and vintage insights with you. I am especially wanting to meet the people who have been such a part of supporting the Greystone journey and to say thank you.

Cam Woodhouse, our Executive Chef, will be pairing canapés and five food courses from the Greystone Kitchen with a selection of Greystone wines. We’ll try both new release wines and older vintages, and some personal favourites of my own. Dinner and all wine matches are included in your ticket, so the evening can be focused on letting the good times (and wine) flow.

Cheers to the grape that started it all! Here at Greystone, Pinot Noir has been the heart and soul of our estate since day one.

Join us all week as our Cellar Door pours a selection of our Pinots. This weekend (22nd–23rd August), step into the Tasting Lounge for a full lineup of Library Release Pinots, a rare chance to try before you buy.

Pair it with a vineyard lunch at the restaurant and a glass of Pinot with views out over the vines. It's the perfect excuse for a scenic drive out to Waipara, less than an hour from Christchurch!

We've been busy in the Library pulling out some pretty special bottles! Here's a sneak peek of what we are pouring... However, there will be more special bottles available only for the night.

Nick Gill of The Food Farm and Michael Voumard of Little Owl Biodynamic Farm join Cameron in the Greystone kitchen. Friends, farmers, and chefs, all sharing the same values, all coming together for one feast.

At the centre of the evening is whole lamb, raised right here in the Greystone vineyard, alongside organic produce from Little Owl Farm and The Food Farm.
Sit together, eat together. Dishes are served along the table to share, with accompanying Greystone wines. The full wine list will be available, plus a handful of special bottles you can't get anywhere else.

Tickets are $145 per person, which includes a 5-course dinner with accompanying wines or a non-alcoholic match if you prefer!

It’s been a great start to the week!

We’ve had the pleasure of showing .b our Greystone Wine Ambassador from Korea, around the farm. We also got her on the tools, pruning in the vineyard and working in the winery. No such thing as a free lunch here!

A huge thank you to our amazing partners in Korea, and , who hosted us on Monday alongside our North Canterbury whānau. And last night, the pleasure was ours, hosting them here at Greystone.

We can’t wait to see you all in Korea later in the year, and back in NZ in 2027. Don’t you just love how wine brings good people together?

🏆 Vineyard of the Year - A decade apart. 🏆

Ten years after claiming our first "Vineyard of the Year" title, we're proud to announce that Greystone has again been named "The Riedel Vineyard of the Year" at the 2026 NZ Organic Wine Awards.

We've been pretty busy over the last decade — three 'Wine of the Show' awards, twelve 'Champion' titles and twenty-two 'Gold' medals along the way. So to claim "Vineyard of the Year" again, a decade later, feels pretty special.

Earlier this month it was a privilege to sponsor the wines for the Māia Health Foundation Feast Gala 2026, an evening that raised $430,000! It was a pleasure to be a part in something truly remarkable.

The money raised went towards the redevelopment of Christchurch Women's Hospital's NICU, creating whānau lounges, overnight parent rooms, and family-centred spaces that help parents through some of the hardest days of their lives.

Our team were lucky enough to be part of the evening, and we left feeling grateful for the community that showed up for the families facing the unimaginable.
