Join us for our 'Friends of Greystone Feast' on Saturday, 18 July, from 6pm here at Greystone Wines & Restaurant

One night only. Nick Gill of The Food Farm and Michael Voumard of Little Owl join Cameron in the kitchen for a feast built around the table. Friends, farmers, and chefs, all sharing the same values, all coming together for one feast.

At the centre of it, the evening is the whole lambs raised right here in the Greystone vineyard, alongside organic produce from Little Owl and The Food Farm.

Sit together, eat together. Dishes are served along the table to share, with accompanying Greystone wines. The full wine list will be available, plus a handful of special bottles that you can’t get anywhere else.

It’s been a great start to the week!

We’ve had the pleasure of showing .b our Greystone Wine Ambassador from Korea, around the farm. We also got her on the tools, pruning in the vineyard and working in the winery. No such thing as a free lunch here!

A huge thank you to our amazing partners in Korea, and , who hosted us on Monday alongside our North Canterbury whānau. And last night, the pleasure was ours, hosting them here at Greystone.

We can’t wait to see you all in Korea later in the year, and back in NZ in 2027. Don’t you just love how wine brings good people together?

🏆 Vineyard of the Year - A decade apart. 🏆

Ten years after claiming our first "Vineyard of the Year" title, we're proud to announce that Greystone has again been named "The Riedel Vineyard of the Year" at the 2026 NZ Organic Wine Awards.

We've been pretty busy over the last decade — three 'Wine of the Show' awards, twelve 'Champion' titles and twenty-two 'Gold' medals along the way. So to claim "Vineyard of the Year" again, a decade later, feels pretty special.

What makes this show a little different is that it's judged by a selected panel of real wine drinkers, not critics or industry insiders. Knowing that the wines we love to make are the wines you love to drink really puts a smile on our faces!

Earlier this month it was a privilege to sponsor the wines for the Māia Health Foundation Feast Gala 2026, an evening that raised $430,000! It was a pleasure to be a part in something truly remarkable.

The money raised went towards the redevelopment of Christchurch Women's Hospital's NICU, creating whānau lounges, overnight parent rooms, and family-centred spaces that help parents through some of the hardest days of their lives.

Our team were lucky enough to be part of the evening, and we left feeling grateful for the community that showed up for the families facing the unimaginable.

A huge thank you to Six60 for spending the day with us at Greystone Wines. We loved sharing our little piece of Waipara with you all, and we hope you loved the wines as much as we loved having you here.

The day started with a tour through our vineyard, followed by a Trust the Chef lunch in our restaurant, before finishing with a hands-on blending session where the band created their own Pinot Noir!

And to everyone heading along to their first show at One New Zealand Stadium, you’re in for something special.

Meet Lilly French. She grew up in Oregon's Willamette Valley, surrounded by vines but not yet by wine.

It took a wise boss, a first harvest, and one extraordinary glass of Chardonnay to set her on a path in winemaking she has no intention of leaving.

Now in her fourth vintage, Lilly has made her way to the limestone slopes of Waipara, curious, capable, and determined to make wine of her own one day. We're glad she found her way here to Greystone.🍇🍃
