Winter is officially over! 🌺 And we’re celebrating with the release of our brand new Coastal Sour, brewed with local Northland berries.

Bright and beautifully effervescent, with an intense, mouth watering tartness balanced by natural, juicy sweetness. Brewed using the very best of the season’s fruit to celebrate fresh harvest flavours at their peak. Sitting at 4.2%, she’s lively, refreshing and ready for warmer days!

As always, we had an absolute blast launching the latest batch of 802 with our pals Northern Line Bar And Social 🕺🏻

802 #77 is officially yours!

This round we’re turning the volume up with Rhapsody & Superdelic hops. Bright red fruit, juicy tropical notes, ripe citrus and a little candied berry sweetness. Huge aroma, soft bitterness and seriously drinkable.

It’s out in the wild now, so you know the drill. Brewed once, gone forever & always best enjoyed fresh.

A brand new West Coast IPA has landed and she’s looking mighty fine!
Sitting at 6.6% this golden brew is packed with all the good stuff. Big hits of dank resin, fresh pine and sharp citrus, with that proper firm West Coast bitterness we know and love 🌲🍊
Crisp, punchy and gloriously old school.

22 medals for our wee brew crew woohoo !🏅🏅

We are so, so proud of our wee team after bringing home 22 medals at the Brewers Guild New Zealand Beer Awards on Saturday night. What an incredible achievement!

Brewing great beer doesn’t happen by accident. It takes passion, consistency, long days, early mornings and a whole lot of teamwork. This crew shows up every single day determined to make the tastiest beer possible for our McLeod’s community, and we couldn’t be more stoked to see that recognised.

Meet Heavyweight and Endless Blue, two limited releases showcasing two very different expressions of hops.

Heavyweight Hazy (9.5% ABV) is a thick, full bodied Triple IPA that hits with bold tropical fruit, bright citrus and a deep, resinous edge. Strata, Krush and Mosaic combine to deliver layers of passionfruit, mango and juicy citrus, with a dank undertone and a dangerously smooth, rounded finish that carries every bit of its weight.

Endless Blue (6.4% ABV) is our bright and crystal clear NZ IPA, brewed for pure drinkability. NZH 112, Motueka and Rhapsody hops bring vibrant notes of zesty lime, ripe tropical fruit and a delicate floral lift, finishing crisp, clean and beautifully balanced.

As the stars of Matariki rise across Aotearoa skies, we’re reminded to pause, reflect, gather, and look ahead.

Chief of Stars is brewed for those long winter nights. A bold Imperial Stout layered with rich molasses, dark chocolate, fresh espresso and soft vanilla, balanced by subtle oak character and a warming finish.
