BEL Group BEL Group is a dairy farming business located in the Central Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand.

BEL Group milks 8,185 cows across 8 dairy farms totalling 2515ha, of which 1041ha is dairy support land. Farming systems are kept simple, profitable and repeatable with a focus on moderate stocking rates, turning grass into milk through grazing and filling the seasonal feed deficits with profitable purchased feeds mostly grown on BEL Dairy Support. BEL Group's business leadership and management st

ructure has evolved over the last few years to create a fully managed business that supports repeatable and sustainable business results. BEL Group is led by an Advisory Board, chaired by owner/director Andrea Barry. This advisory board has five external governance advisors who, along with Andrea, set the strategic direction for BEL Group, monitor the business performance against plan and support the identification and management of business risk.

Work alongside our farm teams rearing calves across a range of systems, from robotic calf feeders through to more traditional setups.

A great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals and being part of a supportive team.

What started as an idea has grown into a free community sunflower event thanks to the generosity of our local businesses. From planting and spraying to building picnic tables and play equipment, so many hands have helped bring this field to life.

A huge thank you to Farmlands, Ballance, Fogarty Spraying, Middle Hills, Ruahine Timber and Taylor Made Gates for backing this project and supporting a space for everyone to enjoy.
