Of all the herbs I’ve had in the tunnels this winter, lemon verbena has been a favourite. Even the lightest touch has thrown out the most amazing aroma. It’s just starting to bud now, and I’m really looking forward to that scent filling the tunnel house again as spring kicks in.

Introducing Herberie — situated in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough producing greens and herbs.

This Page will follow the development of Herberie as the gardens grow: mesclun, cut‑and‑come‑again lettuces, and the herb varieties that will eventually become teas and culinary blends.

NP3 verification is in progress. Once everything is approved, I’ll be able to share more details.
For now, I’ll be posting updates and garden progress here.
