The Limery Limes for every occasion - 100% Kiwi owned & operated located in Wairoa, Northern Hawkes Bay, NZ

Another harvest in the books! đŸ‹â€đŸŸ©

The season started more than three weeks earlier this year and was our biggest one yet, thanks to the added contributions of our local Wairoa growers.

Throughout the season, our limes changed colour. What began as a deep, vibrant green in the February and March picks gradually softened to lime green in April before yellowing off through May and June.

These later months are prime time for juicing, when the brix is high and the juice abundant!

Massive shout-out to our growers and workers for all their mahi over this season. 💚

Two products. Two golds. Not a bad day at the office!! 🏆🏆

Stoked to share that our 100% Pure Lime Juice and 100% Pure Lemon Juice have both been awarded GOLD at the 2026 Outstanding Food Producer Awards.

Described by judges as:

“Vibrant, fresh and zingy. Judges love the natural flavour. Nice to have a great, natural, true product.” - 100% Pure Lime Juice and

“Bright, fresh, zingy. Good natural flavour, well preserved without compromising the authenticity of the fruit.” - 100% Pure Lemon Juice

It sure is moments like this that remind us why we do what we do. Grateful for the mahi, our crew have been putting in behind it all, and for you lot who keep us going.

Di & The Limery team. 💚

Was awesome to host and kƍrero with Dr David Wilson (MP NZ First, and spokesperson for small business), Benita Cairns (Deputy Mayor of Wairoa), and Lewis Ratapu (CEO of Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa) on Wednesday at the Limery.

Sent them off with a taste of what we do

We’re heading south for the Christchurch , and this year we’re parked up at Stand B17, right by the Cooking Theatre (strategic positioning if you ask us).

Whether you’re heading there to snack your way through, stock your pantry with the best of the local produce, or just in need of a yarn, Mark’s holding down the fort and would love to see some friendly faces!

Friday 27 March | 10–5
Saturday 28 March | 10–5
Sunday 29 March | 10–4

See you at B17 💛

Because two carrot cakes are better than one.

Especially when it’s fluffy, spiced just right, and topped with lemon cream cheese icing.

No one at afternoon tea is saying no to this.

We bet you’ve had lemon curd, but have you tried lime curd? đŸ‹â€đŸŸ©

Alright, we know what you’re thinking
lemon curd is elite, why mess with perfection?

Well, hear us out. While both lemons and limes sit in the citrus family, limes bring a brighter, punchier edge. It’s a little sharper, a little more zesty, with that subtle bittersweet twist that keeps you coming back for another spoonful. If you’re someone who always adds “just a bit more lemon,” this is your upgrade.

Just like the classic, it’s endlessly versatile. Spread it thick on warm toast or scones, swirl it through cupcakes, slather it over cake, serve it over vanilla ice cream
or, if you’re feeling fancy, fold it through whipped cream and pipe it into choux for a little show-off moment.

Safe to say, lemon walked so lime could run. Find the full recipe online now.

Friday’s POV: you’re a lime tree getting a seaweed spa day. đŸšđŸ‹â€đŸŸ©

We treated the orchard to an aerial application of nutrient-rich seaweed, boosting soil microbial activity and helping our trees handle seasonal stress. It might’ve looked dramatic
 but it definitely delivered đŸ’â€â™€ïž

Crappy weather your way too? Call it the perfect excuse to slip into something comfy, serve up something spicyy and lock in for Hyundai Country Calendar at 7. đŸœđŸŒ§ïž

This Thai Seafood Laksa is exactly what days like this are for - a warming broth, silky noodles, fresh herbs and just the right hit of heat.

But the secret to taking it from great to epic? FINGER LIMES!!

Trust us, these bad boys are the ultimate laksa upgrade you didn’t know you needed.
