The 295 hectare property at 105 Wallacetown-Riverton Highway, was leased by Southland Demonstration Farm Limited,
on 1st June 2007, to operate as a commercial demonstration farm. The farm provides a focal point for the dissemination of information to Southern South Island dairy farmers. The milking platform is 259 ha with a further 36 ha per year of brassicas and fodder beet for winter feed. The f

arm milks 750 cows targets annual production of 340,000 kg/MS - 1350kgMS/ha off the milking platform.
