All our wines are grown and produced on site and are available for tasting at the wine bar overlooking the vineyard. An original member of what has become Sustainable Winegrowers New Zealand, we're doing our best to preserve the integrity of our soils and the beauty of our landscape.

Ransom is due to Close at the end of the week. I'd like to start by thanking everyone for the great support you have given Ransom over the years. It is with a heavy heart that I announce, on the 29th April 2018 Ransom winery will be closing its doors. I know many of your will be devastated by this news and have been long-time supporters. The winery has been sold to a local gentleman who has decided to close the cellar door and wine bar indefinitely, we are not sure of his long-term plans. To commiserate we are having a HUGE WINE SALE, please visit our website, there is free national delivery if you order a dozen or more www.ransomwines.co.nz. The team at Ransom welcome you to visit our cellar door over the next week and enjoy one last wine and platter while you can. We will be Open 10 am - 4 pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Anzac day. The last day will be Sunday 29th April 2018.
