Our Story

Kaitahi was created by a passionate team of Indigenous Māori based in South Taranaki. We believe that food is more than just combining ingredients, it’s about feeding the "Mauri" or force of life. Everything we create ultimately enhances your wellbeing.

Kaitahi Frozen Smoothy Drops are nutritiously delicious and conveniently designed for no fuss use. We’ve pre-blended native Māori ingredients such as kūmara, pūhā and kawakawa with other carefully curated Superfood, some harvested by hand and others sourced from our trusted partners. No blending required just add your desired liquid to a cup of frozen smoothy drops, shake and go! Kaitahi is a progressive venture that enables us to innovate with our traditions of caring, respecting and conserving. We believe that our natural food has mana (integrity, prestige, power) and needs to be shared with the world. We know, as many ancient cultures do, that nature’s pantry is a vital source of well-being. Everything we create is naturally packed with the goodness our bodies seek.
