Why yes, that just may be the BEST mulled wine you've ever encountered. Shane Kelly, whom some describe as the authority on all things mulled, discovered our perfectly balanced mulled wine recipe in a dusty vintage book back in 2021 and since then, his famous Festival brew has taken the village and its visitors by storm. It's still outstanding value at just $10 a cup and you can find it at Truckstop every Friday and Saturday from 4pm right through July.

You haven't done the Festival until you've immersed yourself in a Truckstop Mulled Wine. Spice up your wintery life and join us. 102 Main Street, Greytown. Head up the driveway and follow your snorer.

What could be more incredible than a mulled wine (made using an ancient European recipe) delicious street dumplings followed by a Crème Brulee Custard Doughnut and an Italian Hot Chocolate? And to seal the deal, a flaming fire pit to sit around with your besties getting your festies on?

That's what's called a Festival of Christmas Truckstop experience. So join us at Truckstop, 102 Main Street (just up the driveway away from the bustle of SH2) and know that only Truckstop has the tables, umbrellas, music and fire pits that makes dining outside this winter such a joy. Fridays and Saturdays, 4pm to 8pm, right through July.

Oh, so cosy! A little dampness last Friday and Saturday didn't deter enthusiasm for a tasty Truckstop experience from hundreds of hungry and thirsty Truckers attending the opening weekend of the Festival of Christmas.

Shane was kept busy serving his famous European Ancient Mulled Wine that is now legendary in Greytown. And the crowds flocked in for flamed Fire Pit Burgers from Chef Dale Keith, Dumplings from Mao & Co, delicious kai from Good Times and the most incredible sweet treats you've ever encountered from Kate and Alex at the Bicycle Kitchen.

It all happens again from 4pm to 8pm this Friday and Saturday for weekend two of Greytown's famous Festival. Head over to immerse yourself in gourmet takeaways, flaming fire pits, festive lights and music and a Hallmark Christmas Movie small town vibe like none other.

Hello Truckstop enthusiasts!

Our little venue that we affectionately describe as Greytown's back yard turned four years old this summer. It was created in a hurry during the pandemic and for the first three summers (and Festival of Christmases) it became a place for us to gather with food and family and friends and co****le and enjoy our long summer evenings with some live music on Saturday nights. We loved having you over.

Last summer, it seemed Greytown had seen plenty of food trucks all year round and the novelty had worn off. Fair enough! So we thought we'd change it up a little and bring you a catered evening of delicious cowboy food created by our very own Dale Keith.

We must have got that wrong. Despite plenty of advertising in the Grapevine and through email, social media and posters, it just seemed that the cowboy dinner idea wasn't what Greytown wanted.

So we won't be doing that, but we will be having everyone over for brunch at Crop Up every Saturday morning instead. See you there at 9am!
