Customer Update

Dear customers, friends and foodies.
We’re changing how we operate.

What changes?
Our Saturday Factory Shop will run until Saturday 12 September. After that, it will become a pop-up space.
Keep an eye on our website and social media—we’ll announce special dates throughout the year when you can stock up on your favourite products.
Our regular supply to Moore Wilson’s will finish, and the online shop is now closed.

What doesn’t change?
Our food craft workshops will continue and grow.
Think sausage making, smoking and curing, pickling, fermentation, pierogi workshops, guest chefs, food experiences, and plenty of opportunities to get your hands busy.
The workshop calendar can be found on our website.

And The Hussar isn’t going anywhere. You’ll still find us at major Wellington festivals, serving up the food you know and love.

I realised today that we haven’t posted much about our WOAP burger — mostly because our little team has been so busy there hasn’t even been time to take a decent photo! 😂

So, we’re very gratefully borrowing this gorgeous customer-supplied snap instead. ❤️

And now… it’s the **LAST WEEKEND** for our WOAP burger!

 The sun is finally shining on an August weekend, so let’s make this a very special finishing line for this awesome event.

Secret de Polishinelle - our WOAP burger 😃

The star of the show is our rolled, house-smoked pork belly, glazed with a sticky IPA and honey reduction. Add cheeky pickles, a slice of cheddar, and a grilled bun.

Because when the meat is this good, you don’t need much else 😃

Fridays 5pm–8pm
