Ana is responsible for bringing together the efforts of around 100 grower-members of this Catalonian reimagining of a local cooperative.

Fruit comes from tiny & large parcels on soils of slate, sand, limestone & clay. She's making wines from everyday drinking to premium single vineyard expressions.

'Principio Moristel', an example of wine in its purist form, and a true reflection of its place- Somontano, Spanish Pyrenees.

Organic, old vines of the local Moristel grape, a variety found only here, tended by the families who have done so forever.

A wild ferment,
No use of oak;
Nor filtering or fining.

🍷

Mild alcohol levels, good acidity, present but low tannins, and an alluring dark cherry color.

Forest-foraged red berries burst forth alongside delightfully bright cherry and cranberry. Hints of earth and scrub. A lovely purple floral scent on the nose.

We refer to this as a perennial wine.
