Restaurant Manager Mother Goose Kitchen & Bar
We’re looking for our next superstar!
With our superstar Becci heading over to the Duke, we’re on the hunt for another superstar Restaurant Manager to take charge of Mother Goose!
Nestled between Featherston and Greytown, Mother Goose is a much-loved country restaurant and bar set amongst beautiful gardens. We’re all about great food, great people, good times and making everyone who walks through the door feel genuinely welcome.
We’re looking for someone who can step up, lead from the front and make Mother Goose their own.
The role
This is a 40-hour-per-week salaried position, working across our current Thursday to Monday opening days with weekends being an essential part of the role.
You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day restaurant operation, supporting and motivating the team, and making sure our guests have a fantastic experience every time they visit.
We need someone who:
Has previous experience as a Duty Manager or Restaurant Manager
Is confident leading, motivating and managing a team
Can stay calm, organised and positive when things get busy, Works collaboratively and enjoys being part of a team
Has a genuine passion for hospitality and people
Understands that guest experience is paramount
Is a natural, welcoming host who enjoys getting amongst the action
Can take responsibility, make decisions and lead by example
Isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in!
