Sorry to be the bearer of bad news this early Monday morning but we are closed for today. Our whole crew has been knocked with colds/sickness after last weeks weather switch. We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but we'll be back in tomorrow.

Sending praises to all those helping out in those affected areas of our motu hit by Cyclone Gabrielle, and with a quick shake up here in Te Whanganui a Tara, I've decided to switch it up and bring some smiles to some dials apopo. I'll be making a limited number of frybread for Tasty Thursday! (And to make up for being out of the shop today 😅) I'll hit you with a reminder tomorrow. For now, stay safe Sweets.

A late night message I know, but a heads up that we will be CLOSED TOMORROW Wednesday 15th February, whilst this cyclone blows over (a last minute decision but as a Māma I need to be home with my babies and do not wish to risk my team to come in when I will not). Provided we're all clear Wednesday evening 🤞 we will be back in on Thursday.
In the mean time, stay warm, stay safe, and keep in high spirits for those seeing the worst of it. ❤️

Significant heavy rain and damaging winds are impacting many parts of northern and central New Zealand. In addition, large waves, storm surges and coastal inundation are affecting exposed eastern coasts of the North Island.

Further significant heavy rain and damaging winds are expected today. Red Warnings for Heavy Rain remain in force for Northland. In addition, Red Warnings for severe gales remain in place for Northland, Auckland and Taranaki. Warnings and Watches for both heavy rain and severe gales are in place for many other parts of central and northern New Zealand.

It is important to keep up to date with the latest MetService forecasts and follow the advice of local authorities.

there's limited numbers of pillowy goodness left (the frybread lovers have already had a good chunk of what was here 🥰) ad well as cinnon scrolls and cheese scones, as well as caffeine goodness so come check me out before 10am.

Atamārie Sweets. I've been on leave from mahi whilst Alex and Stainton have been holding it down, it's been a little quiet around the building (so a perfect chance to recalibrate the mind and body) but now I'm a little out of practice with my latte art. Come down to 8 Gilmer and help me get back into the mix. In the kitchen til 10am this week (unless you guys give me a reason to stay open longer 😏👍)
