Aureate Artisan Foods Aureate is where New Zealanders can get their sweet fix, regardless of their dietary choices. 🍰

Based in Christchurch, Aureate creates handcrafted cupcakes, unbaked treats, and packaged goods for all occasions – from celebrations to everyday sweet cravings. We're regulars at local night markets, and also take custom orders for events, gifts, or just because. We cater to all dietary requirements – including gluten-free, vegan, and raw – and love a good baking challenge! Almost any flavour, shape, quantity, or dietary requirement can be tackled, just ask. Only free-range eggs are used in each and every batch (unless it’s egg-free of course). Feel free to browse through our albums to see cakes and creations we’ve made over the years – a mix of styles, sizes, and flavours to suit all sorts of events.

What an epic night at the New Zealand Food Awards Gala Dinner on Tuesday! ✨

While we didn’t take home a trophy this time, we’re incredibly proud to have been named a finalist and to have Aureate Artisan Foods represented alongside so many talented people and businesses in the New Zealand food industry.

As a small business, it can sometimes feel like you’re doing it all on your own. Nights like these are a great reminder of the passionate community behind our food industry, bringing together everyone from fellow small businesses to some of the biggest names in the game.

We loved meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, celebrating the incredible talent in the room and, of course, enjoying some amazing food and w**e!
