We've hosted a few book events at Alexia with Millie from Mrs Blackwell's bookshop. Up until now, these have all been 'silent reading' parties. But we've wanted to delve deeper into the relationship between books and wine, and how they can leave a lasting impression on readers/drinkers because of the important stories they tell…yes, wines tell stories too...

I can't think of two better people to lead that discussion than Millie and Jane - this is going to be a great afternoon, and we hope you can join us.

As parents of teenagers, we often look back fondly on the days when they occasionally did what we asked, and we didn’t have to repeat every sentence due to AirPod-induced selective hearing…

Each vintage, Facebook memories pop up showing us in the vineyard with the kids as toddlers, reminding us how much Alexia has infiltrated our lives. Alexia has been named on The Real Review Top Wineries of New Zealand list!

We entered the list in 2024 at no.146, and now we’ve whittled it down to no. 67… heading in the right direction!

Congratulations to everyone on the list, especially our fellow Wairarapa wineries. Proud to be part of this little wine region!

We can’t wait for the New Zealand Festival of Christmas to return to our part of the world this winter!
