Taste of Durban Being new to New Zealand, and so far from home, nothing brings us more comfort than food.

The heart of our menu is the Durban Bunny Chow, a hollowed-out piece of unsliced white bread/tin loaf (cut in half, quarters or the whole loaf) filled with a mouth watering lamb/chicken/beans curry, made with authentic Durban spices. Nothing makes us feel closer to home than the familiar tastes and flavours from home. Originally from Durban – South Africa, I grew up being active in our family run

Take Away, watching my Mum and Dad prepare and serve mouth watering dishes, the main attraction being the famous Bunny Chow. Over the years, I have developed a passion for cooking and preparing Indian cuisine, using my tried and tested family recipes. With this passion I hope to bring you a little bit of South Africa, by serving you food that warms your heart and soul with every bite. We are a home based kitchen, registered and verified with the Wellington City Council (Certification Number to follow)
