Vegetables NZ is proud to support https://eatucation.co.nz/ on its mission to ensure every Kiwi kid leaves school food literate!

EATucation gives learners a food literacy pathway from ECE to NCEA. It provides schools with ready-made teaching resources that give teachers the gift of time and learners a life-long connection to food.

EATucation's resources also meet the requirements for teaching literacy and numeracy. If you want your tamariki to get the best food education around, contact your school principal and ask if they have considered EATucation.

Together, we can nourish our tamariki and see them flourish! Give our future generations the gift of food, join the EATucation movement TODAY!

Vegetables.co.nz is pleased to announce its new partnership with social enterprise, EATucation.

EATucation provides early childhood, primary, and secondary school teachers with ready-made resources that build students’ food literacy at every stage of their education journey. It was founded by Matt Robinson (pictured).

‘Our new partnership with EATucation complements what we are doing through the Add One More Vegetable initiative to increase vegetable consumption,’ says Vegetables NZ Chair, John Murphy.

‘EATucation’s programme will improve children's attitudes towards vegetables and drive better health outcomes throughout their lives.’

Take a look at these exquisite parsnip entrées developed by our young talent at the recent National Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge. It is always such an inspiration to see the level of care and creativity that goes into preparing and presenting these veg-focused entrées. A well deserved congratulations to the two winners from Epsom Girls Grammar School.
