We had a sick cow a few weeks ago. Outstanding work by Hannah and Annabel from VetLife Oxford saved her and she is enjoying life today. Being sick compromised her liver function and she became photsensitsed. This resulted in all her white skin peeling off. She looks terrible but will come right in a few weeks.

It's well over due for some updates. Let's start with the latest and strangest. A couple of weeks ago we had a bit of wind come through. Later that day we found a pidgeon fledgling on the ground. Later that week another blast of wind and another fledling on the ground. Both doing well and will be soon able to fly off.

This little boy was born late at night in the middle of a cold snap. It's hard to gauge from the pic but he is tiny. One of twins he nearly didn't make it. After a night in the warmth and a couple of bottles he was able to return to mum.

Great excitement today. Jasmine has delivered her baby. A lovely heifer. The yellow is amniotic fluid and will be cleared off by mum. A pic will be added when she is her proper white. The name has been decided and Juniper it is.
