Next in our Bourbon Month cocktail series: the fancy-looking, but surprisingly simple, Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned.

The Old Fashioned got its name when drinkers began asking for their whiskey cocktails made the “old-fashioned way”: with spirit, sugar, bitters and water.

You’ll need:
60ml Woodford Reserve Bourbon
10ml sugar syrup
2–3 dashes aromatic bitters
Ice and orange peel

Add the bourbon, sugar syrup and bitters to an ice-filled glass. Stir until chilled, then finish with a twist of orange peel.

Minimal effort. Maximum sophistication 🥃🍊

Our Bourbon Month cocktail series continues with a certified crowd-pleaser: the Buffalo Trace Whiskey Sour. The Whiskey Sour is a beautifully balanced combination of spirit, citrus and sugar.

You’ll need:

60ml Buffalo Trace Bourbon

30ml fresh lemon juice

15ml sugar syrup

15ml egg white

Dash of Bitters to garnish

Add all your ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake everything without ice first. Add ice, shake again, then strain into a glass.

Sweet, sharp and silky smooth. There’s a reason it’s a classic. Enjoy responsibly.

This Bourbon Month, we’re mixing up some of our favourite bourbon and American whiskey cocktails to show you just how versatile these dark spirits can be. First up: the simple but satisfying Lynchburg Lemonade. 🍋

This refreshing, citrusy cocktail is named after Lynchburg, Tennessee, the home of the Jack Daniel’s Distillery.

You’ll need:

30ml Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey

30ml triple sec

30ml fresh lemon juice

Splash of lemonade on top

Ice and a lemon wedge

Add all ingredients to a glass, add ice, stir gently and garnish with lemon. A little taste of Lynchburg, no plane ticket required. 🥃🍋 Enjoy responsibly.
