We support the Bathurst Buller Plateau Continuation Project.

We know this is a controversial issue, and we respect that people will have different views. But for us, this is personal.
We have friends and family working at the mine, and our own staff and their families are part of the wider community that relies on the jobs and economic activity the mine provides.

At Rainbow Cake Kitchen, we serve more than 600 local people every day. We see first-hand how important local businesses, workers and industries are to keeping Westport alive and thriving.

Bathurst has been a great supporter of our business, and we genuinely appreciate that support. In return, we love being able to support our community, employ local people and give back wherever we can.

For us, this isn't simply about a mine. It's about people, families, jobs, local businesses and the future of Westport.

We believe the Bathurst operation plays an important role in the economic wellbeing of our town. Without it, we believe the road ahead for Westport would be considerably tougher.

That's why Rainbow Cake Kitchen supports the continuation project.

Whatever people's individual views may be, we hope the future of our community remains at the heart of the conversation.

Our town needs jobs. Our businesses need customers. Our families need opportunities. And Westport needs a future.

❤️ We support our community. We support local jobs. We support Buller.
