Kiaora Whanau,

IMPORTANT -
Due to a new and exciting opportunity that has opened up I will no longer be taking any orders other than my own whanau.

Heading back into the workforce for a full time job, managing my household and three tamariki aswell as the usual life events will mean I won't have alot of spare time for cakes 😅

This hasn't been an easy choice but with everyone feeling their wallet pinch and the cost of living increasing it was time to move to something more stable in terms of income 🤑

I will continue to do the odd market and will still post any cakes I manage to fit in! Apologies to those who normally come to me for your sweet treats and a big thank you to anyone who has supported Ember's Eats 🥰💞

Kia ora Whanau!

After a very long break out of the kitchen we are back with some sweet treats 😋
Come and join us at the Nukuhou Hall Community Market tomorrow from 11am to 3pm, loads of different stuff from car boot sale to different foods/baking 🥰

I have joined up with my whanau at Teina and Twins for the markets, so keep an eye out for some cool laser printed goodies aswell!! Pictured below is one of the many sets of earrings that my mum and Aunties made 😍😍

We will also have some macrame and kawakawa balms avaliable.

A golf cake fit for a golf pro ⛳️

Cake made for a good friend of ours to celebrate his 21st birthday. Was a mission with everything else going on in the past week but I got there in the end! 24hrs is not very long to make this size cake 😅

Kiaora Whanau!

Hope everyone is keeping dry with all the wet weather we have had around the BOP 🌧
If you haven't noticed, I've had the last 6 weeks out of the kitchen! Between calving, 3 kids, 2 new lambs, a puppy and just general life stuff I was definitely happy to have the break 😅

But today I got the joy of making my best friend's birthday cake! Something that has been in conversation for the last year or so 🤣
Red velvet cake with swiss meringue buttercream and piped flowers/plants, a classy combo for someone who doesn't want just plain vanilla or choc 🤩

A huge happy birthday to you my friend, I hope we celebrate many more with delicious food and cakes 💗💗

Will have a few more cakes/avaliable bookings in the next few weeks.

Kiaora Whanau!
Just popping in to explain the sudden disappearance of my cake posts... it's definitely been a little while 😅

At the moment we are almost half way through our calving season (for those who don't know us personally, my partner is a dairy farmer). During calving my partner spends more time on the farm than he does at home, which is just the reality of the job and lifestyle that we love! We have also had the usual dose of winter bugs that are going around 😷

Because of this I have taken a step back from orders and will be focusing more on my kids and partner. I will still be doing the odd cake here and there but this will be dependent on my time and dates 📅.

What a morning...

A MASSIVE batch of cakes for today 😆 with a total of eight 6inch round birthday cakes and a fruit cake 🎂
Thank you to the Hakiaha whanau for trusting me with this order. It was no small task but I appreciate all the support 😊
Shoutout to my baking assistant (my mum) who arrived yesterday to help finish all the final pieces, the real MVP

Still have one more cake to finish off for the week and then it must be time to relax!
