Apteryx Coffee is a small roastery based in Whakatane New Zealand, a beautiful town on the east coast of the North Island, famous for its gorgeous beaches, long sunny days, and now, great coffee! We believe there is a nationwide social movement away from the homogeneous large food industries, people are placing more importance on quality rather than quantity and would like to know where their food

comes from and how it was made. The craft food and beverage phenomenon is a great way to support small, local, diverse businesses who are part of your community. People who create authentic, fresh products and work hard to bring you the best. At Apteryx we are proud to be a part of this movement. We take care in selecting our Fair Trade, Organic coffee that is air roasted in small batches to produce a sweeter, cleaner taste than conventional roasting methods and will delight your taste buds no matter how you like to drink your daily dose!
