Quadrangular Rugby Tournament History - 2010s
In the 2010s Wellington College continued to dominate winning consecutively from 2003-2014.
WCS made the final in 2018 and again in 2019, with a very close final on a windy wet day in Wellington losing a tight game 7-13.

If you are coming to the 100th Quadrangular Rugby Tournament and not going to the Quad Black-Tie Gala Dinner and looking for somewhere to meet up with your WCS mates.

Quadrangular Rugby Tournament History - 1980s
The 1980s were very successful for WCS with five finals and three titles:
1983 v Wellington College 13-13
1984 v Nelson College 26-4
1986 v Wellington College 14-6

Peter Irvine took over as coach from Bob Griffiths in 1984.

There are a number of notable players from the 1980s who we expect will be watching on the sidelines of Quad this year. Jason Bowie (XV 1987-89) is the current Whanganui College Board Chair. Mark Godfrey (XV 1985-86) is the Coach of this year's 1st XV.
