A difficult decision đź’š

With regret, we have decided to close the Jojo’s Avo Stand due to continuous theft and, unfortunately, vandalism last night.

We will be reviewing a new security camera system and looking at ways to identify those responsible, as it is incredibly disappointing to see something intended for the enjoyment of our neighbourhood being spoiled by a few.

We will still do our best to help our local customers. If you would like avocados, lemons or grapefruit, please message us and we’ll try to assist where we can.

Our tamarillos are now end of season, and it is especially sad to know that the last lot were stolen.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Jojo’s Avo Stand and respected the honesty system. We truly appreciate you. 💚

Jojos Avo’s stall has restocked with Autumn Set HASS Avocados — and this time of year they’re at their absolute best for eating! 🥑

Even though they’re round, they’re still genuine HASS avocados. They’ve simply pollinated early, which means their oil content is higher and they’re wonderfully creamy and flavoursome.

Tamarillos are coming to the end of their season, so make the most of them while they’re still around! ❤️

And for the bargain hunters — $5 boxes of skin-damaged/reject avocados! They might not win any beauty contests, but they all taste just as good inside! 🥑💚

If you visited JOJO's roadside stall today and took the newly stocked tamarillos, please return to put some money in the honesty box.
Unfortunately, it's not the 1st time it has happened over the last few weeks. We work hard to grow our produce, unfortunately for little return. To get no return on our efforts shows a lack of respect for our hard work.

Which brings us to a crossroads again on whether to keep the stall open. We have other avenues to sell our produce, but we've been community-minded and focused on supporting local. For those that do pay, thank you for your honesty.
