🥔 Potatoes, spuds, tatie’s (Or whatever you call them)

We’ve always grow spuds for our dinner and after running out last year I decided we’d planted twice the amount in spring, the family weren’t happy when I brought home 50kgs to plant but they all mucked in. The potatoes grew twice the size as normal so now we have a few too many tatie’s for us to eat. YES I did get “told you so” 😂

Freshly dug potatoes will be available in the stall from today ready for you to roast, mash, bake, fry. How does your family prefer to eat them?

They haven’t been sprayed and yes they are just home grown spuds, the forked ones have gone inside but some are potato shapes.

Please note that there will be no deliveries next week December 25th or the following January 1st as we take a short break to spend time with our family.

If you require egg's during this time, the stall at 156 Campbell Road will be stocked for you to pick up items.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your continued support this year—we truly appreciate it.

🎄 Christmas Trees – Gauging Interest 🎄

Hi everyone!
Just a quick update from us as we head into the festive season.

Due to our biosecurity requirements for the hens, we’re unable to have people walking through the tree paddock this year. We know this has been a special part of choosing a real tree, and we really appreciate your understanding.

A few of you have asked whether we could cut the trees for you and bring them up to the yard instead — and we’re more than happy to do this if there’s enough interest.

We’re looking at offering this on:
Saturday 6th and Sunday 14th, 1pm–4pm each day.

If this is something you’d be keen on, please comment below so we can get an idea of numbers. If there isn’t enough interest, we may need to skip it this year — but we’d love to make it happen if we can!

Stall is back

After some minor repairs the stall is back in its spot and filled up.

Thankfully the girls weren’t blown away or hurt during those winds, the big coops stayed put.

Still a few trees to tidy up and some fence poles to replace down the paddocks, it’s been a long few days. Thinking of all those that are still without power and have plenty of clean up to tackle.

Today marks 2 years of and we couldn't be more grateful.
What started as a wee idea has grown so fast thanks to you, all our amazing customers, supporters and family.

Over the last 24 months we've gone from 1 Coop to now 3.
Supplying those in Winton, residents and cafe/restaurants, to now stretching from Invercargill to Garston and everywhere in-between.

Thank you for being part of our journey so far, whether you've been with us from the start or joined more recently, we appreciate you all.

Plenty of options for all from trays of size 5 eggs to all your favourites - mixed grade dozen or tray and a few Jumbo dozens.

The lambs have arrived along with the hens, the daffodils are shining bright.
