This red wine grape variety grows primarily in southern France's Languedoc-Roussillon region, where it is more commonly known as Gros Auxerrois. In California, it’s called Napa Gamay or even Gamay 15.

But what is this grape of many names? Loved for yielding dark-purple wines with generous floral notes on the nose and bright fruits on the palate, Valdiguié proves a rare find.
